Use a ratio of three parts baking soda to one part water.A good starting point is about half a cup of baking soda. Mix it in a small bowl until it's spreadable, like toothpaste. This soda paste acts as a gentle abrasive. It scrubs away grime without scratching the surface. For extra power against grease, add a few drops of a strong dish soap. This boosts the paste's degreasing ability significantly.Using Vinegar and Dish Soap to Cut Through GreaseAfter applying the paste, prepare a secondary solution. Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.Spray this vinegar solution directly onto the baking soda paste. You will see an immediate fizzing reaction. This soda vinegar reaction is completely normal and safe. The bubbling action helps lift stubborn dirt and grime from the surface. This fizzing is a clear sign the cleaning process is working effectively. This combination is a highly effective, non-toxic way to achieve a brilliant shine.Deep Cleaning Techniques for Stubborn Grease and GrimeTackling stubborn, baked-on grime requires a bit more patience and a specific technique. This process ensures you lift away even the most persistent spots safely.Start by putting on your gloves. Spread the baking soda paste generously over the entire surface. Make sure you cover every stained area thoroughly for a complete clean.Applying and Letting the Cleaner Sit for Optimal ResultsThe most critical step is to let the paste sit. The waiting time depends on how much grime you're dealing with. For light cleaning, 15 minutes is usually enough. Moderate buildup needs 20 to 30 minutes. For extremely tough jobs, you can let it sit overnight. You'll know it's working when the mixture darkens. This shows it's absorbing the dirt and grease. This visual cue is a good sign your efforts are paying off.Scraping and Spot-Treating with Non-Abrasive ToolsAfter the paste has sat, spray it with the vinegar solution. Use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe everything away using circular motions. If any debris remains, a plastic scraper is your best friend. Hold it flush against the surface at a slight angle. Gently run it over stuck-on spots without using too much pressure. For persistent residue, apply a little more paste directly to the problem area. Let it sit for a few more minutes before gently scrubbing with a non-abrasive sponge. Finally, give the area a thorough rinse. This ensures all residue is gone, leaving you with perfectly clean glass. Let the paste sit based on the level of grime. Use a plastic scraper carefully for stuck-on debris. Spot-treat stubborn stains with extra paste.
